Christel Brion specialises in intellectual property and regulatory affairs.
She counsels large companies (such as Johnson & Johnson, to give but one example) as well as start-ups, SMEs, universities and research institutes active in various innovative fields, in particular the life science and healthcare sectors (including bio-pharma, med tech, diagnostics and IT specialists).
Christel is in frequent contact with the public health authorities and industry bodies and advises on and litigates cases involving a wide range of regulatory and related issues, such as borderline products, clinical studies, (early) market access, off-label use, distribution, advertising and promotion compliance, mobile health, patient support programmes, pharmaco- and materiovigilance, product liability claims, parallel imports and cross-border healthcare.
She has particular expertise in patent litigation, including assisting innovative companies with the development of life-cycle management strategies and the defence of their intellectual property rights (in particular patents and SPCs).
Christel looks forward to answering your questions at the Meet the Experts session and to guiding you through the regulatory labyrinth (or at least providing you with a compass!).
